Pinch, punch, first of the month! I seem to be getting into a bit of a rhythm at the moment with my volunteering. Without really trying, I’ve started grouping tasks, doing regular shifts with certain charities and pairing charities up. One such pairing is Only A Pavement Away and Transforming Autism Project. I seem to always do work for both of them on the same day. This challenge is definitely becoming habit-forming!

What: Creating a welcome pack
Organisation: Transforming Autism Project

Today, I went back to the welcome pack for the TAP fundraising challenge which will be taking place throughout March. The name of the challenge has changed from ‘March Into March’ to ‘March For Autism’, which I prefer. I’m actually quite proud of what I’ve managed to come up with, and it’s had some good feedback so far, which is nice to hear. I’ve got a few amends to do on it, which I’ll probably get out of the way tomorrow. I like doing the design work, I find it quite relaxing. I have no idea if I’m really that good at it, and my designer friends would probably cringe at the thought of my using Canva, but I don’t care. I’m enjoying it.

What: Final Google Online Marketing Challenge Meeting
Organisation: Only A Pavement Away

Today, we had our last meeting with our lovely German students from the University of Media in Stuttgart. They’ve done so well, and we’ve given them glowing reviews. As I’ve mentioned previously, Google Ads give you a budget of $10k per month (up to $100k per year) and our students pretty much managed to spend the entire $10k budget in December and January – which is actually a pretty difficult thing to do. I’m going to take a good look at the ads, as they’ve done really well with them and I want to look at their keyword strategies. I’m boring you now, so I’m going to stop. You’ll see OAPA again this week, I’m sure.
